If you scroll down you'll see a piece of fan art I created for Daniel Warren Johnson's "Do a Power Bomb". Well, I was super happy to find out that it was actually PUBLISHED in the letter column of Issue 1, yay!

Here's a piece of news: I was announced as one of the directors on the animated show "1,2,3 Numbers Squad!" for Sky Kids.
Incredible bunch of people to work shoulder-to-shoulder with. Just so you know, this photo is pretty old and I have since started enjoying Carbs again. https://senalnews.com/en/content/omens-studios-bolsters-its-uk-presence-with-new-appointments It's been a while since I looked at the website and unfortunately I am *SLIGHTLY* behind with the updates again XD. Oh well, in the next few days I'll try to catch up with more recent art and news. Stay tuned!
She doesn't know I am posting this photo xD. BTW the restaurant is called "Antica trattoria da Tito", in via S.Gallo Florence and it's quite good!
My girlfriend is a recent Fashion Design graduate and she's super into Gucci (shocking. I know!), so a couple of weeks ago we went to visit the Gucci Garden, a boutique/Museum right here in Florence Italy. Each room had a motive related to different Gucci collections through the years, and some feature really interesting audio visual elements. Highly inspiring and recommended if you come to the city!
Here's a little fanart for the awesome Daniel Warren Johnson's upcoming "Do a powerbomb" comic from Image. It's parallel pen on cheap straw paper with some photoshop fixes on top. I had a BLAST doing it!
In case you were wondering if I had disappeared off the earth or something, well kinda...I got a new job! I am now a director at Omens Studios, yay! I get to direct a new preschool series and I am super excited. Lots of stuff being done behind the curtains and hopefully I'll be able to show some stuff soon. The studio is based in Singapore but I am working from home in Italy, which is great because I can stay home and a bit less great because I wake up every morning at 6-6:30 to at least spend half of the working day concurrently with Singapore. It's the start of a brand-new adventure!
Hi, here's my last artwork for 2021! It's a look test for the western comic book that I still working on on the side. It's a bit laborious, but the workflow so far is: I did the linework on Clip Studio with a pixel brush and a tiny canvas at 72 dpi to get a really rough, nervous look. Then I blew it up to 144 dpi and printed it out on Moleskine Watercolor paper. Then I pulled out the Promakers and whiteout and did a quick tone job on it.
I kinda like the way it looks, to be honest. Can't wait to see what will come out. Anyway, if you are reading this, I wish you and yours all the best and an amazing 2022! |
