One of the positives of being born in Italy is that you grow up with lots of beautiful nature and ancient architecture around... but with time it becomes easy to take them for granted.

Luckily, my fiancèe is not Italian and this Sunday she successfully pushed me off the (very comfy) bed to check out the nearby Demidoff Park, which used to be owned by De Medici family and contains the famous Gigante dell' Appennino Statue.
